Monster Gifts! was a meta-fictional short story in DWA 359. The story posits that the team behind the magazine have reached out to some of the Doctor's various foes to ask them what gift they would give him for Christmas.
Summary[]
The Cybermen would give the Doctor a new pair of trainers, as he will need to run very fast the next time he meets them.
The Zygons say a nice long scarf would be perfect for trapping him; they could use it to grab him as he runs away.
The Daleks generally refuse to exchange presents, but are willing to make and exception for the Doctor, saying that they will conquer him with a phone that they can track him through time and space with.
The Weeping Angels would give him a mask with no eye holes; when he puts it over his face, they will be able to move and catch him at last.
Strax would get the Doctor a DVD boxset featuring the Sontaran's glorious adventures.
Finally, Missy would give the Doctor herself as a new companion for Christmas, saying that they could go looking for Gallifrey together.

- The story contains images demonstrating the monsters proposed gifts; the Zygon's present is represented by a scarf that resembles that worn by the Fourth Doctor and Petronella Osgood. Missy's gift proposal comes with an image of herself wearing a red bow on her head.
- The story is headed by a promotional image of the Twelfth Doctor with a speech bubble added: "You're all far too kind!"
- The story ends with the magazine directly asking the reader to get in touch and tell them what they would give the Doctor.
- The Dalek's note appears to contain a typo; they miss out the word "time", resulting in the sentence, "We will conquer him with a phone that we can track him through and time with".
