In the Paloma Centre, his work was kept in the Blue Room. (PROSE: The War of Art) According to the Tenth Doctor, Monet would have loved the sight of the Saturn V launch from the Kennedy Space Center. He claimed that the sight would also have been "completely wasted on him" due to having the worst eyesight the Doctor had ever seen. According to the Doctor, Monet thought he was "one of the great photo-realists of his age". (PROSE: Blue Moon)
