- The Millingdale site was used as part of the Cybus Spy ARG, as well as the Torchwood Mission Game.
- A cover of "The Doctor's Theme" as an ice cream van jingle played on the home page of the site.
- An advertisement for Millingdale later appeared in the episode Love & Monsters on "Victor Kennedy"'s newspaper.
