Michael Turner (19 July 1921-14 July 2012[1]) played Jarvis Bennett in the Doctor Who television story The Wheel in Space.
Career[]
Turner debuted on television in the 1950s, appearing in episodes of Sherlock Holmes and The Moonstone, but only began appearing in television regularly in the 60s, appearing on Emergency – Ward 10, The Avengers and Z-Cars, as well as appearing in the 1965 film Othello. During the 70s and 80s he appeared in episodes of Callan, Barlow at Large, Crown Court, Dixon of Dock Green, Public Eye, The New Avengers, Angels and Crossroads. One of his final roles was in a 1992 episode of Boon, with his final role being in a 1998 episode of The Bill.

Michael died shortly before his 91st birthday.
