Michael Kirkwood was a human electrician who was captured by the Zygon Kritakh as he left work. Kritakh subsequently took Kirkwood's form, and left his naked body in the warehouse he worked. However, Kritakh was soon overtaken by Kirkwood's personality and forgot his real identity until he and Lauren Anderson returned to the warehouse and found him. Kritakh tried to return his body, but the unconscious Kirkwood had complications and had to be brought to St Kitts Hospital, where he eventually awakened.
