Mia Tyler (COMIC: Empire of the Wolf) was the daughter of Rose Tyler and the Doctor.
Biography[]
According to one account, Rose gave birth to her daughter in 2012. (PROSE: The Turning of the Tide)
As a teenager, Mia told her mother she was going out to meet her friends, Callisto and Ami, right before Rose vanished into her native universe. Mia returned three hours later, expressing disgust at seeing her parents kissing. (COMIC: Empire of the Wolf)
Behind the scenes[]
- In both the short story The Turning of the Tide and the comic Empire of the Wolf, Rose is depicted as having a child. While Mia is not explicitly the same child as the one Rose gave birth to in The Turning of the Tide, as there are a number of contradictions between the stories such as the name of the Meta-Crisis Doctor being given as Corin among other things, it is not untruthful to say that they are, in fact, differing accounts of Rose Tyler's daughter.
- It is not stated if Mia's surname is "Smith" after her father or "Tyler" after her mother.
