Dr Menzies was an Earth human physician. Whilst at Graystairs in 1982, he helped fund Sooal's research on Alzheimer's disease. The Seventh Doctor convinced him later not to release the cure, as it was too early in Earth's history and could damage the Web of Time. (PROSE: Relative Dementias)
