Notes[]
To maintain secrecy, Freema Agyeman was told initially that she would be auditioning for Torchwood. The plan had been to audition her with a script from the spinoff but none were ready for use, so they had to admit to her the true nature of the audition. Coincidentally, she would later appear in a Torchwood episode as Martha.
