In the 1980s, Ace worked as a waitress in a McDonald's restaurant on Tottenham Court Road. In 1994, Ben Jackson and Polly Wright ordered two hamburgers, fries and a Coke from a McDonald's in Cumbria. Neither had heard of the restaurant, as it arrived after their native time of 1966. Behind the scenes[]

The American fast food chain arrived in the United Kingdom in 1974, thirty-four years after its emergence in its home nation, and eight years after Ben and Polly's time.

In 2017, Richard Franklin starred in a commercial advertising the McDonald's Monopoly promotion,[1] and in 2019, Vitas Varnas starred in an ad for McDonald's Australia advertising the All Day Menu.[2]
