The Mayor of Cardiff was an unwilling ally to the Sorvix during their takeover of the city.

Biography[]

The Mayor was forced to assist the Sorvix by their leader, Ro-Jedda, who used threats in order to control him. He delicately referred to matters relating to the Sorvix as "visitors' protocols" and attempted to mask his dissatisfaction with their presence in Cardiff. (AUDIO: Aliens & Sex & Chips & Gravy)

He delivered a speech denouncing hate at the candlelight vigil at the Refugee Crisis Centre, after which the vigil was bombed by 3Sol. He survived but was left very distressed by the situation, not listening to his personal assistant and therefore being surprised to find Tyler Steele in his office. (AUDIO: Changes Everything) He hired him to do PR, among other things.

The Mayor sent Tyler to ask Torchwood to make sure that Ro-Jedda's daughter Madrigal's hen night did not get out of hand (AUDIO: Aliens & Sex & Chips & Gravy) and, after congratulating Tyler on coverage in The Echo that deflected attention away from his closing of branch libraries, had him ask Torchwood to look into Vincent Parry. (AUDIO: Orr)

Threatened by Ro-Jedda into solving the murders at the Cardiff Bay Intelligent Hotel and Spa, the Mayor told Tyler to have Torchwood investigate. Once they had done so, he decided to go public about the Sorvix and asked Tyler to announce a press conference. However, the room was empty and Ro-Jedda entered. The Mayor tried to run but she ate him. (AUDIO: Superiority Complex)

Personality[]

The Mayor loved Cardiff and was proud of the city, but was disgusted and embarrassed by the rise of hate crimes. (AUDIO: Changes Everything) Although he also disliked the Sorvix and their presence, he held his tongue and attempted to monitor his language when speaking with Ro-Jedda. (AUDIO: Aliens & Sex & Chips & Gravy)
