The Maschera were a group of Vasteryoi and Tendragons who posed as semi-robotic guardians of Shadow-Space. They supposedly guarded the bodies of those in Shadow-Space. In fact they were attempting to extract the humans in Shadow-Space in order to use them as plaque carriers. (AUDIO: Masquerade)
