Marteek was an Ogron who lived on Mechma Onzlo III Station with her husband, Onzlo. She was an old friend of the Doctor.

At some point, the Doctor gave Marteek and Onzlo a tip about a Chula hostship.
When the Tenth Doctor arrived on Mechma Onzlo III Station to look for a device that could record temporal wakes, Marteek sold him a Xerobian Quantisized Radiant Core Monitor. (COMIC: Vortex Butterflies)
Some time after the Doctor left, Marteek was kidnapped by the Time Sentinels, who sent Aspect Grey-Seventeen to impersonate her. The Sentinels imprisoned her in a cell on their asteroid, where they later imprisoned Gabby Gonzalez. When Gabby woke up, Marteek offered her some water, and introduced herself. When the Red TARDIS appeared in their cell, Marteek rushed inside it, despite Gabby's concern. The two of them escaped the Sentinels' asteroid. (COMIC: The Good Companion)
