Lucius Casler was a soldier in the American Civil War. He fought for the South, but turned traitor and killed fellow Virginian Samuel Elkins. He then led several deserters to attack Samuel's house, but Samuel's wife Charlotte, with the help of the Fifth Doctor and Turlough, defeated the men. Casler fell into a burning cart and burned to death. (PROSE: Comforts of Home)
