Tardis

Lover was a timeship grown by Brother Bow to help him escape The Loop in the Eleven-Day Empire. Through no fault of his or hers, she was psychologically primed to love him. She took him to the Palace of Platentia in 1509, pretended to be Catherine of Aragon, and tried to replace the English monarchy with hers and Bow's children, who would not sign the Gregorian Compact. That way, the Eleven-Day Empire and The Loop would not be created. When Bow realised this, and that she was the avatar of his timeship, he commanded her to take them back to The Loop and destroy herself. Before she did, she left him with a baby timeship, their son.
