Here is a list of Doctor Who segments of Blue Peter - including any Doctor Who related moment on the show, whether it be a clip, a competition, a behind the scenes look or an all new episode.
Blue Peter has had a longtime association with Doctor Who. It was used on many occasions to promote the series and upcoming episodes, monsters and special events, including the debuts of Peter Davison and Sylvester McCoy, who spoke about taking up the role of the Doctor. Historically, the series has proven valuable for not only featuring contemporary interviews with actors and behind-the-scenes personnel from the series, but for also providing glimpses into production history.

- 1963: Clip - a clip of An Unearthly Child is broadcast.
- 1964: Dalek Cakes - a segment from a 1964 show, features the presenters.
- 1965: The Romans - a feature on the upcoming serial The Romans and Roman life.
- 1965: Clips - Clips of (that have survived because of this) The Daleks' Master Plan are broadcast.
- 3/2/1966: See The Dalek Party.
- 1966: War Machine - a War Machine appears in character, a clip is also seen.
- 1966: Regeneration scene: the First Doctor's regeneration was broadcast, it only survives to this day because of this showing.
- 1967: Design a Monster - the first design a monster competition, the finished product seen in character, none of the aliens were used within the show proper however.
- 1968: Clips - from Fury from the Deep were broadcast.
- 1969: Clips - from The War Games were broadcast between the run of episode 5 to 10.
- 1971: Peter Purves discusses his work on Doctor Who, a clip from the otherwise-missing third episode of The Daleks' Master Plan is shown, and three Daleks invade the Blue Peter set.

- 7 June 1973: Dalek appears in character to appeal for the recovery of two stolen Daleks.
- 11 June 1973: Update to declare that the two stolen Daleks had been found.

- 05/11/1973: Whomobile - Jon Pertwee shows off the latter.
- March 1975: Showcase of Doctor Who themed models and CSO.
- 1975: Robot sets - Due to strikes, a show was broadcast on the UNIT set from Robot.
- 1976: Clips - from The Hand of Fear are broadcast.
- 1977: Feature - a feature on the new serial The Invisible Enemy.
- 1978: Clips - from The Ribos Operation are broadcast.
- 1978: Clips - from The Pirate Planet are broadcast.
- 1978: Clips - from The Stones of Blood are broadcast.
- 1980: Clips - from The Leisure Hive are broadcast.
- 1982: Feature - on Castrovalva and the Fifth Doctor.
- 1982: Clips - from Black Orchid are broadcast
- 21/11/1983: 20th Anniversary - Peter Davison appears in character as the Fifth Doctor and so does Richard Hurndall as the First Doctor, monsters are seen in character and clips of The Five Doctors are broadcast.
- 15/03/84: Sixth Doctor - Colin Baker discusses the role.
- 1985: Feature - of The Mark of the Rani.
- 18/09/1986: The Trial of a Time Lord - the robot from The Mysterious Planet appears in character to promote the latter story, as well as Nabil Shaban in character to promote Mindwarp. Both appear in the same show. Colin Baker and Bonnie Langford were interviewed.
- 1987: Sylvester McCoy - discusses the role of the Seventh Doctor, appears out of a TARDIS.
- 4/4/2005: Christopher Eccleston appears in-character as the Ninth Doctor in a special segment wherein he helps defeat a compost Dalek.
- 2006: Behind the Scenes - look at Rise of the Cybermen/The Age of Steel.
- 2006: Design a Monster - a competition made for viewers to design their own monsters that'd feature in the story Love & Monsters, the Abzorbaloff design won.
- 2006: Ood & Cyberman - appear in character to promote the BBC Books range The New Doctor Adventures.
- 2006: Behind the Scenes - look at Army of Ghosts/Doomsday. Matt Baker provides voices for the Daleks.
- 2006: SJA: Visiting the sets.
- 2006: Appear in Doctor Who - a chance to appear in the next episode, John Bell won the competition and was later cast as Creet.
- 2008: Clips - from Journey's End are broadcast.
- 2010: TARDIS Design - a contest for viewers to submit designs for a new TARDIS console, Matt Smith choses Susannah Leah's design, it was later used as the basis for the Junk TARDIS.
- 2010: Matt Smith - appears and designs Who related crafts plus discussing the new monster, Smilers.
- 2012: See Blue Peter special
- 2012: A script to screen competition for schools, the winner was Good as Gold.
- 2012: A competition to design sonic devices for the Paternoster Gang.
- 22/08/2014 - Brett Domino performs a song about the last 50 years of Doctor Who.
