Lezarata Research Centre was a research institution that the Third Doctor and Jo Grant visited. Jo thought that it was in America or Australia. Their research was based on trying to bring people back to life from voice recordings. They extracted the Second voice from a recording of Thomas Edison. (AUDIO: Ghost in the Machine)
