Leonard Meyer Sachs (26 September 1909-15 June 1990[1]) appeared in two Doctor Who television stories: as Admiral Gaspard de Coligny in The Massacre and Lord President Borusa in Arc of Infinity.
He had also been considered for the roles of Marcus Scarman in Pyramids of Mars (TCH 24), General Grugger in Meglos and Monarch in Four to Doomsday (TCH 34). He was also asked to reprise his role as Borusa in The Five Doctors.

He was the father of Torchwood guest star Robin Sachs and father-in-law of 73 Yards guest actress Siân Phillips.
