Lauren Cooper was a human schoolgirl who took an English class taught by the Tenth Doctor under the alias of "Mr Logan".

The mouthy and rude Lauren continually disrupted the class by pestered him with questions, asking him if he was the Doctor, or if he fancied Billie Piper, resulting in a direct argument between them in which Lauren kept insisting that she "ain't bovvered" using Shakespearean language (as he was trying to teach the class about William Shakespeare). At the end of his rope, the Doctor produced his sonic screwdriver and used it to turn Lauren into a Rose Tyler action figure, to the shock of her classmates. Lauren, despite her newfound inanimate state, was still miraculously able to have the last word; a tiny, squeaky "I still ain't bovvered!" (TV: Comic Relief 2007)

Behind the scenes[]

Lauren is a character from The Catherine Tate Show, which the skit she was in crossed over with. Amusingly, Catherine Tate also starred in Doctor Who as Donna Noble.
