The Las Vegas Hotel Miramar was a tall building with a ground floor that resembled "a cavern of glinting golden scarlet lights". In 1960, Brenda Soobie performed her anachronistic one-woman cabaret in the Miramar's supper lounge. Brenda lived in a private suite at the top of the hotel.
Fitz Kreiner and Flossie visited the Miramar to use its fruit machines and investigate Brenda Soobie. While they were at the cabaret, Fitz and Flossie realised that they were being stalked by a MIAOW assassin. They found safety with Brenda and - with Noël Coward and Martha - escaped the Miramar in Brenda's Celestial Omnibus. (PROSE: Mad Dogs and Englishmen)
