In the late 18th century, the spaceship Sicura crashed into a lagoon near Venice. As it slowly sank, its AI concealed it as a palazzo, the AI becoming Lady Sicura, and threw an endless masquerade with robotic duplicates of the deceased passengers. The Eleventh Doctor and Valarie Lockwood, who had crashed the masquerade unawares, learned the truth about the Sicura. With the help of Tomasi, the captain and sole survivor of the crash, they stopped Lady Sicura before she could sink the ship for good. (AUDIO: The House of Masks)
