In 2065, Lady Penelope Creighton-Ward briefly owned a hoverjet.
After discovering that Mr Steelman was planning to derail the bullion train which was heading from Strasbourg to Berlin, Lady Penelope and Parker needed some way to get on the train so they could stop Mr Steelman from stealing the gold. Penelope's solution to this problem was to purchase a hoverjet and so she and Parker waited until the Frankfurt-Berne intersection to make their move. Parker brought the hoverjet in line with the train and put it on remote control. Then, he and Penelope dropped onto the roof of the train using a rope ladder extending from the craft. The duo eventually entered the train by smashing a window with one of Penelope's shoes, the hoverjet being left to crash once it ran out of fuel, a situation Penelope described both as "unfortunate" and one which "[could]n't be helped".
