Lady Peinforte was the 20th The Blogs of Doom short story, published in 2019 in Doctor Who Magazine 538. Like other features in the series, it narrated events in the life of a minor Doctor Who TV character before and after their involvement in the Doctor's life.
In this case, the subject of writer Jonathan Morris's attention was Lady Peinforte from Silver Nemesis.
Summary[]

Worldbuilding[]
- Peinforte believes "social workers" also dress in 16th-century attire (although she is from the 17th century).
- Peinforte thinks De Flores is "a bit of a Nazi" as he speaks of a "master race" and "Führer" and Wagner's Der Ring des Nibelungen.
- Were she not in a hurry, Peinforte would have trussed Mrs Remington from a tree in her undergarments.
Notes[]
- This story is a retelling of Silver Nemesis from Peinforte's perspective.
- Peinforte has perused the TARDIS Wiki, and reflects on looms being "non-canonical" and the Doctor's half-human side being "disregarded," refering to Lungbarrow and Doctor Who respectfully.
Continuity[]
- The Nemesis crashed to Earth in 1638 where Peinforte shaped it into a statue of herself in "glorious evil." (TV: Silver Nemesis)
- Secrets the Nemesis tells Peinforte include looms, (PROSE: Lungbarrow) the Doctor being half-human on his mother's side, (TV: Doctor Who) the Doctor's barn and his promise to never be cruel or cowardly, (TV: The Day of the Doctor) his time cot, (TV: A Good Man Goes to War) and that only children could hear his name if their hearts and stars are in the right place. (TV: Twice Upon a Time)
- Petronella Osgood would later use the TARDIS Wiki in 2020. (WC: The Zygon Isolation)
