Lady was one of the fictional, titular characters of the Disney film, Lady and the Tramp.
Biography[]
One scene involved her being brought into a shelter by Bill, who placed her into a cage, where she met some other dogs.
Immediately upon entering, Toughy and Bull walked over to her and began making jokes about her, such as asking if she was in for "putting fleas on the butler", due to her evidently living a more lavished lifestyle than their own, as largely shown by her license.
During this, Peg woke up and asked the other dogs to lay off, pointing out that "the poor kid [was] scared enough already". Boris, another dog & philosopher, told her to pay no attention to the other dogs, a statement which Peg agreed with, saying that they "don't mean no real harm".
Boris then told her that wearing license in the shelter was like "waving red flag in front of bull", leading Lady to ask what was wrong with her license, to which Peg replied that there was nothing wrong with it, and that it was her "passport to freedom".
Shortly after, Toughy and Bull mentioned a tramp, leading Lady to enquire about the tramp, to which they provided some description of the tramp's story, as did Peg. Lady was surprised upon soon after hearing of the several lovers whom the tramp had previously been with, including Pedro's sister, Rosita Chiquita Juanita Chihuahua.
Soon after, Peg sung "He's a Tramp", a song about the tramp, as Lady and the rest of the dogs listened. (TV: Disney Time)
