Kuan Yin

Kuan Yin was the Chinese deity of compassion, "She Who Hears the Cries of the World". In India she was instead taken to be a male, the bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara.

Empress Ci Xi would dress up as Kuan Yin, and Compassion took the form of Kuan Yin pretending to be Ci Xi dressing up as Kuan Yin in order to control the chi lines surrounding China. (PROSE: Warring States)
