Know Your Enemy was a work of short prose fiction running throughout Doctor Who The Official Annual 2021, comprising nine full-page "fact files" about an enemy from Series 12 of Doctor Who, plus Resolution.

The monsters covered in Know Your Enemy were:
- Kasaavin
- Dregs
- The Skithra
- The Reconnaissance Dalek
- The Judoon
- Praxeus Creatures
- The Chagaska
- Ashad
- The CyberMasters
Each contained a labelled likeness of the creature as well as a box containing answers to the questions:
- What are they?
- What can they do?
- What do they want?
- What are their weaknesses?
Each Know Your Enemy fact file also contained a "Warning", encased in a red hexagon, for a particularly fearsome trait of the creature or "tricky" element to fghting them, as well as a TARDIS data extract — allegedly drawn from the databanks of the Doctor's TARDIS herself — including additional background information on the creatures or their history.
Worldbuilding[]
- The CyberMasters' exo-suits are described as being themselves "a fusion of Cyber- and Time Lord tech" supplemented with "a sprinkle of [the Spy Master's] own twisted imagination".
- According to the TARDIS data extract on the Lone Cyberman, Ashad had a supercomputer fused to his cerebral cortex.
