Biography[]
Kiani was a Cahlough Academy student and specialised in Gallifreyan criminology. She wrote her dissertation, Imprisonment Post-Shada: Punishment or Parole, on Time Lord imprisonment and studied the Capitol prison facility.
She got permission from Cardinal Padrac to interview the Eleven for her thesis, unwittingly giving him the opportunity to escape. Coordinator Farina had her held in Cell 5-γ-9 before the Eighth Doctor realised that she was almost certainly being used by the Eleven as a distraction. She joined the Doctor in helping find the Eleven and Liv Chenka and successfully convinced the Eleven to take her instead of Liv, after which the Eleven killed her with a biodata disseminator. Personality[]
Kiani was a genius and reminded the Doctor of an old friend of his. Although she was interested in Gallifreyan law, she had the ambition to do something more "hands on" than being an inquisitor. (AUDIO: The Eleven)
