Karisma Scindia was a model and lifestyle guru.
With other Scindias, she participated in the massacre of two Mumbai police officers in 2314.
She was responsible for ordering the rocket that Clara Oswald was trapped under to launch, an action that would have killed Clara if not for the intervention of the Twelfth Doctor.
With her brother Aamir, she accompanied the Doctor, Priyanka Maratha and Rani Chandra to the temple where the final Sword of Kali was located. However, two robots appeared and attacked them, allowing the Doctor and his companions to escape.
Tiger Maratha found the corpses of Aamir and Karisma when he entered the temple to retrieve the sword, not knowing the Doctor had taken it. (COMIC: The Swords of Kali)
