Junior was an infant Sea Devil whose nest had been established on land instead of at sea due to global warming.
While exploring the beachside cave where Junior's nest was located, Alex and Kat encountered another Sea Devil, who fired its energy weapon at them in an effort to protect Junior's nest, only to be subdued by Jo Jones and her sonic lipstick. Jo subsequently brought Alex and Kat to the location of the Sea Devil's nest, where they witnessed Junior emerge from its egg. Kat attempted to capture this encounter on her mobile phone, but was dissuaded by Jo, who encouraged her to "Stay in the moment".
After returning to the beach, Jo brought Junior back to the sea, explaining to Alex and Kat that it would subsequently swim out to rejoin its colony. (WC: Defenders of Earth)
