Dame June Whitfield (11 November 1925-28 December 2018[1]) played Minnie Hooper in the Doctor Who television story The End of Time.
She was interviewed on the Doctor Who Confidential episode Lords and Masters.

She is perhaps best-known for playing June Monsoon, mother of Edina and grandmother of Saffron, on the famed BBC sitcom Absolutely Fabulous (alongside Jennifer Saunders, Joanna Lumley and Julia Sawalha).

She is the mother of Suzy Aitchison, who appeared in the AudioGO story Tsar Wars.
