History[edit | edit source]
The Cardiff branch of Jubilee Pizza enjoyed the regular custom of Torchwood Three, which had an account in the name of "Torchwood", courtesy of Owen Harper. Gwen Cooper impersonated a delivery person to enter the Hub for the first time, though her true identity was known all along. (TV: Everything Changes)
Jack Harkness had Ianto call Jubilee Pizzas, asking that they loaded the pizzas up with whatever they had and kept them coming. This was to satisfy the ravishing hunger of Marianne Till. (PROSE: Slow Decay)
On a later occasion, a delivery girl, Annie Botchwell, had her brain extracted by the partially-converted Cyberman Lisa Hallett. Hallett intended to implant her own brain. The girl was shot multiple times by the Torchwood staff. (TV: Cyberwoman)
Tyler Steele disguised himself as a Jubilee deliveryman to get access to Yvonne Hartman whilst she was under house arrest. He did actually bring her a vegetarian hot pizza from Jubilee, which included chilli peppers and anchovies. They enjoyed it together on Yvonne's balcony. (AUDIO: Thoughts and Prayers)
Behind the scenes[edit | edit source]
- The name "Jubilee" is a reference to Rob Shearman's own audio drama for Big Finish Productions Jubilee, from which the television story Dalek was adapted.
- Jubilee Pizza is one of a number of brands that run throughout both the Doctor Who and Torchwood universes, such as Magpie Electricals.
