Jorge Luis Borges

Jorge Luis Borges was a human writer from Earth. He wrote the novel O Time Your Pyramids, which was subsequently lost; though the Infinity Doctor thought he owned the only surviving copy, he found one in the Librarinth on the Needle. (PROSE: The Infinity Doctors [+]Lance Parkin, BBC Books (1998).)

Diego Rivera allowed Borges to read the Rivera Manuscript, which he compared unfavourably to the Saragossa manuscript. (PROSE: "War Predictions" [+]Part of The Book of the War, Lawrence Miles, et al., Faction Paradox novels (Mad Norwegian Press, 2002).)

When rattling off frivolous theories about the possible origins of the Library, which it would later describe as "not quite the Library of Babel, but it's home", the Bookwyrm proposed that the Library might have been "conceived by the ghost of Jorge Luis Broges". (PROSE: The Cactus and the Corpse [+]Aristide Twain, Horrors of Arcbeatle (Auteur, Coloth, Arcbeatle Press, 2023).)
