Jon Rollason (9 April 1931-20 February 2016)[1] played Harold Chorley in the Doctor Who story The Web of Fear.
He is most famous for playing Dr Martin King in three episodes of the Sydney Newman-created series The Avengers, serving as an interim partner for John Steed between Ian Hendry's Dr David Keel and Honor Blackman's Cathy Gale. His other television appearances include Z-Cars, Crossroads, Softly, Softly, Softly, Softly: Taskforce, Barlow at Large, No Hiding Place, The Baron, Danger Man, Coronation Street and ''The Wednesday Play.
