On 2 April 2005, following the Dummy Massacre, John responded to Who is Doctor Who?'s request for sightings of the then-missing Rose Tyler by recounting an event that had happened to him the other Wednesday afternoon in which he received a wrong number phone call from someone named Rose Tyler, who claimed she was calling from the year 5,000,000,000. In reality, Rose truly had been calling from the year 5,000,000,000, having been taken there by the Ninth Doctor to witness the destruction of the Earth aboard Platform One. (TV: The End of the World)
