John Savident (born 21 January 1938[1]) played the Squire in the Doctor Who television story The Visitation. He later voiced Pendle in the Big Finish Productions audio story Order of the Daleks.
He is best known for playing Fred Elliot in Coronation Street. He also appeared in The Saint, Callan and Blake's 7, and had a role in the film A Clockwork Orange.
