John Howell provided studio sound for the Doctor Who television stories The Leisure Hive and State of Decay. He provided the same service for a number of other British hits, incluing John Cleese's Fawlty Towers, Tenko and the time-travel sitcom, Goodnight Sweetheart, with Dervla Kirwan.
