John Dixon lived in Hove. He was born on 12 January 1976. He owned a Cuddlesome in his youth in the 1980s. In 2008, the Tinghus began reactivating Cuddlesomes and John's bit him, infecting him with a virus. The Fifth Doctor was able to cure him.
When the Tinghus later destroyed John's Cuddlesome, he suffered a great psychic shock. However, he recovered and helped the Doctor stop the Tinghus from turning the human race into Tingha/human hybrids.
When the Fifth Doctor first met John, he was in a relationship with Angela Wisher. Three years later when the Doctor returned the hammer he had borrowed from Angela, John had broken up with her and was going to marry Miranda Evenden. (AUDIO: Cuddlesome)
