Guy Adams once remarked that his boss Mike believed he and John Cleese had been separated at birth, after mentioning a Monty Python sketch. (PROSE: Timeless)
At one point, Cleese encountered the Doctor and formed a friendship with him. This was referenced by the Sixth Doctor, stating that "John and Connie" were good friends of his, in response to Melanie Bush quoting Cleese.
