John Bennett (8 May 1928-11 April 2005[1]) appeared in two Doctor Who television stories: as General Finch in Invasion of the Dinosaurs and Li H'sen Chang in The Talons of Weng-Chiang.
He was also considered for the roles of Bennett in The Rescue (DWM 604) and Mehendri Solon in The Brain of Morbius. (TCH 24)
He shared his memories of The Talons of Weng-Chiang on the DVD audio commentary.
Legacy[]
Over a decade after John's death, Nicholas Goh recreated the role of Li H'Sen Chang for Big Finish's The Diary of River Song story The Talents of Greel.
