Joan was a Slitheen who ran a weight loss programme on Earth. She wore the skin of an elderly human woman that she claimed to have found down an alley.
She was discovered by the Tenth Doctor whilst leading a weight loss meeting at a civic hall, and was suspicious of her motive. She claimed that she just wanted to get into shape and start dating, the latter of which she found hard due to her constant farting. (COMIC: Untitled)
