Jen was a defence attorney assigned to Zoe Heriot. She wanted to find the truth about Zoe being a time traveller for the Company, or they would execute her.
When she was first assigned, she tried to get evidence of a visit to Uzbekistan in 1919. She delighted in the information she had learnt; however, Zoe had lied about the story she retold, only the information that was true was the information read from Jen's computer. Jen was angry about the deceit, especially since it involved Zoe killing some innocent humans, the Lancings. (AUDIO: The Memory Cheats)
Jen later asked her about a funeral of a prominent 21st century scientist. (AUDIO: The Uncertainty Principle)
