Java was an island in the south of Asia.^[1]

Java was an island located just off the south-east of Sumatra. To the north of Java was the island of Borneo. It was just one of a number of islands in the area. (TV: Survivors of the Flux) Its port of call was Anjer. (PROSE: Erasing Sherlock)
