Mr Lorry was a character from A Tale of Two Cities by Charles Dickens.
At one point in the book, Mr Lorry confirmed to another character that he had been travelling on a boat with two companions - "A gentleman and a lady". He told the other that his passage had been rough. When asked if he had had any "conversation with the prisoner", he replied with the negative. The pair were then interrupted as Miss Manette stood to gaze upon the prisoner.
At another point in the book, Lorry met with Doctor Manette - a man whom he considered to be a dear friend. He asked Manette to consider his work as a shoemaker, stating that it was not his true occupation. Manette continued to work.
Pages featuring Mr Lorry appeared on Toshiko Sato's computer, after she transferred the data from copy of the physical book using an alien data scanner. (TV: Everything Changes)
