James McLoughlin wrote the Doctor Who segments of LEGO Dimensions. Scenes from one of his levels were screened as The Dalek Extermination of Earth in 2016. He also wrote and directed Doctor, Doctor, Doctor. Later still, he wrote, directed, and produced Supergirl Meets E.T..
Outside of Doctor Who, he has done much work with other LEGO video games, such as Harry Potter and The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit.
