Jabe Ceth Ceth Jafe was a representative of the Forest of Cheem.

Biography

In the year 5 Billion, Jabe had come to see the destruction of Earth. Her ancestors were from a tropical rainforest on Earth.

Upon meeting the Ninth Doctor, she took an immediate interest in him. After discovering his true heritage, she felt grief at the loss of an entire species, with him as the only survivor.

When Platform One came under attack, she sacrificed her life valiantly, staying behind to allow the Doctor to fix the sun filters. She burnt to death under the immense heat. (TV: The End of the World)

The Tenth Doctor recalled Jabe, along with others, when Davros made him think about all those who died in his name. (TV: Journey's End)

The Eleventh Doctor still remembered Jabe 203 years after his meeting with her. (TV: The Doctor, the Widow and the Wardrobe)

Personality

Even though she only knew him for a short period of time, Jabe was very loyal to the Ninth Doctor, acting like one of his companions. She was filled with grief for him after discovering that he was the Last of the Time Lords. She was also very brave, giving her life so that the Doctor could save everyone on Platform One.
