Izaxyrl was a young Ice Warrior noble, the son of Uzoxx and Luass. While undergoing the Ritual of Tuburr, he was kidnapped by Lord Artix's men. This made him ineligible to inherit his father's throne. After he was rescued by the Eighth Doctor, he accompanied him back to his uncle's home to rescue Stacy Townsend and Ssard. When he fought and defeated Artix, it made up for his interrupted Ascendance Rite. (COMIC: Descendance, Ascendance)
