Independent Souls

Independent Souls was a 1992 film that Michael Brookhaven worked on as executive producer as well as co-wrote using his Steven Gabell pseudonym. It reframed the American War of Independence by casting General Howe as a war criminal whose men committed cannibalism rather than a principled leader. Brookhaven attempted to justify this to his superiors by claiming this was a reflection of the Great Houses' war crime's against the Remote. (PROSE: The Book of the War)
