Ian Glendennis served as a BBC Commentator for the 2004 Olympics.
In 2019, he hosted BBC television programme SportsWatch. During an interview with 2004 Olympic silver medalist Mallika Montgomery, he realised that he could suddenly no longer remember the event, nor anything from the year 2004, as it had disappeared from history.
