Major Husak was a Czechoslovakian member of UNIT. In 1997, he was in charge of a UNIT Czech engineering group carrying out flood relief in the Low Countries when he was seconded to UNIT-UK to form an exclusion zone around Carbury. He took charge of evacuating the owners of the Gore Crow Hotel and other civilians in the area following threats from Morgaine and Mordred, but was having trouble until the Seventh Doctor convinced people to cooperate.
