The Human Be-In was a concert held in San Francisco's Golden Gate Park in 1967. Jack Stimson called it "a big pow-wow to usher in the Age of Aquarius". Amongst the bands on hand were Jefferson Airplane, the Grateful Dead, and Quicksilver Messenger Service. Timothy Leary, Allen Ginsberg and some other prominent Beat poets spoke there, as well.
