The Hubway was the European control centre for the Internet. Before it went online in 1998, the Voracians attacked the main building in Wiltshire where it was housed. They intended to use it to spread Voractyll to all the computers on Earth. The Fourth Doctor was able to stop their invasion plans. (PROSE: System Shock)
